A Little Gift, Page Four of Six

The teddy bear slowly meanders towards Nora, who bends down to pick it it. Just minutes ago, this teddy bear was her friend, Harley. And now, it's just a simple toy, waiting to be packed up. Nora lifts the toy with ease and gently lowers it into the box. The teddy stirs in the box for a few more seconds before finally winding down, returning to an idle, laying-down position. It falls over onto the foam packing peanuts, remaining absolutely still. The only marked reminder it was really her were the pink tinted eyes of the toy, which were just colored glass marbles. She reached down and gave the fur of the bear a good rub before pulling the lid from behind it over the box. However, she hesitates just before she begins sealing it. What could she be planning?
