So Yeah, This Again

I'm really taking this whole lurker thing seriously. I've got over 37k favourites and I'm at almost 16k pageviews. And for what? Nothin'! But, I suppose I'll be posting a few things soon. But that's about all I have planned for my deviantART. Mind you, I come on almost daily. And I always have around 100 deviations waiting in my messages every single time. So I'm not dead. But I'm just too lazy to post content. So, I'll just go ahead and do a general life update (excluding bits I don't wish to discuss).

So far, being stuck at home has given me a new pastime. Anime. And lots of it (for me). The last time I updated this, I was watching Monk. And I've long since forgotten most of the episodes within my immediate memory. Those thoughts have been overtaken by My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong As I Expected, Devil Survivor 2, Ouran High School, Lucky Star, K-On!!, Sasameki Koto, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Clannad. All of which I enjoyed thoroughly.

I came into My Youth Romantic Comedy without any knowledge and still having Haruhi Suzumiya on my mind. And while it isn't a fantasy/sci-fi story, it did delve into some things that dealt with the psyche. All fun through to the end, and it leaves you wanting more episodes. Unfortunately, they used up all source material within the course of 13 episodes. Devil Survivor 2 was a recommendation from a friend, and not knowing too much about the Shin Megami Tensei games, I actually enjoyed it completely. While a little rushed, it delivered a fantastic, dark story that was ironically fitting for how little episodes came from it. I didn't know what to expect with Ouran at all coming into it. So I guess it turned out better than expected. Very good show. Lucky Star, I knew what to expect, and I was satisified fully and then some. Very rememberable cast of characters, with a good amount of highlights. K-On!! I also didn't know what to expect. Same result as Ouran High School. A very close-knit group of characters that proved to stick through the worst of any situation. All I have to say for Sasameki Koto is that it hit me very deeply. Definitely shot up to one of my favourite stories ever. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was definitely enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like was how they handled Lior in comparison to the original series. Other than that, definitely something everyone needs to watch. Clannad is typical tragic romance story that's sectioned off into parts dealing with different characters and their problems while spending time with the main character.

Obviously, I still have a lot I need to watch. Attack on Titan, the rest of Clannad (I'm almost done!), Hellsing, and more. That's what's been taking up most of my time. Most.

Anyways, to finish off, my birthday on this Tuesday. Yay. -_-
